Founded in 1970, our club is a relatively small group of keen amateur photographers. We meet most Mondays at the Priory Hotel in Scunthorpe at 8.00 pm. At other times, especially in the summer, we meet in a variety of outdoor locations.
Barton Arts Week is a general celebration of the arts but the main focus is on music, drama and visual arts. Barton Arts not only promotes events in its own right but also highlights and indicates associated arts events occurring during the Week in the Barton area.

"Music in Scunthorpe" is the popular name for the Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire Concert Society. Since 1949 the Society has promoted an annual series of classical chamber music concerts by professional artists of international renown. Concerts are held, October to April, on a Friday of each month in the Main Hall of John Leggott College.

Scunthorpe & District Choral Society has been established since 1881. It meets to rehearse on Thursday evenings from September to April at Frederick Gough School. Our repertoire ranges from Baroque to Modern and we perform with first-class soloists and orchestras. The society is affiliated to Making Music, which represents and supports amateur performing and promoting societies throughout the UK.
